They seriously look like a best-seller memoir cover! That smile and laugh looks so beautifully and truly you. You’re amazing! ]]> Crystal, thank you so much for sharing this. I’ve always struggled with my weight too and I have to remind myself if it was as simple as “eat less” we probably wouldn’t have an obesity epidemic. I find that no matter how unhappy I am, it doesn’t seem to correlate to or lead me to an increase in resolve or will power. I ask myself “how unhappy do you have to get before you are willing to make a big change?”
I hate that you got to that point of unhappiness but I’m also so glad you were able to do big and little things to get you to a happier place. When I think of you, I always think of big happy “Woo” energy…and pirates 😜

While a different experience, I have long struggled with (hidden) disordered eating/body imagine issues and dramatic fluxes in “body numbers”, self-worth, comments from those who shouldnt have the right to comment…mostly stemming from child abuse/trauma. Still working through these issues, and your bravery in sharing your story helps me remember healing, while a process, is worth the hard work. Hoping your journey continues to bring you all the health and satisfaction you desire. ❤️
